MAGNA sweets company history
MAGNA Werbung GmbH is founded by Mr. Wolfgang Heinzinger. The company's first home is the Sonnenstraße in Munich. At this point, this new company has one employee. The first own product is a candy, where the foil could be printed with up to two colours by hot embossing.
After the first couple of year in the Sonnenstraße, the small company moves to a new office building in the Plinganserstraße in Munich. The production faclilty still remains. At this point MAGNA has 4 employees. One of them is Ilona Stock, who still works with us today, as well as one apprentice.
Beginning of the construction of our own production faclilty in Aying under the name of Gottfried Verpackungs GmbH.
Our office moves to Eichenau. MAGNA Werbung GmbH will from know on be known as MAGNA Werbeartikel GmbH. At the same time, Gottfried Verpackungs GmbH moves from Aying to Göggenhofen, which allows us to expand our product range with dextrose, peppermint and filled metal tins. Furthermore, our first own 1-colour flexo printing machine is installed, which is supplemented in 1996 by another 4-colour flexo printing machine.
With the entry of Steffen Heinzinger into the company, sweets+more Vertrieb- und Verpackungsgesellschaft mbH is founded. Steffen Heinzinger takes over the management as a partner. Sweets+more takes over production and the export business.
Relocation of the administration to new offices in Fürstenfeldbruck. Mr. Wolfgang Heinzinger is withdrawing from operational business.
sweets+more GmbH acquires a production hall at the current company location in Moorenweis and simultaneously takes over Gottfried Verpackungs GmbH with the move to the new manufacturing facilities. The expansion to over 2,000 m² of production space lays the foundation for the company's continuous growth.
sweets + more and MAGNA Werbeartikel GmbH merge into today's MAGNA sweets GmbH.
Steffen Heinzinger takes over sole management. At the same time, MAGNA sweets GmbH purchases new administrative offices in Moorenweis and moves into them by the end of the year.
Mario Siebig joins the company as a member of the management team.
Steffen Heinzinger takes over all the shares of all existing partners.
Expansion of the Moorenweis site with a new warehouse featuring over 1,000 new pallet spaces.
Mario Siebig has been appointed as the Managing Director of Sales.
Expansion of the existing photovoltaic system with a capacity of 270 kWp. This allows the company to cover 70% of its electricity demand from renewable energy sources.
